Inside the Civil War Monument at Mt Albion cemetery. The spiral staircase can be taken to the top of the monument where a lovely view of the surrounding cemetery can be seen. On the 9 marble slabs you can see the names of 463 local residents who died fighting the war.
Front view of St Joseph's Cemetery Chapel in Albion, NY. Built in 1920 of red Medina Sandstone. Constructed in the Romanesque style. Located at the entrance to the cemetery. Opposite the chapel is Route 31.
Front view of the Boxwood Chapel at the entrance to the cemetery. Built in 1903 using mostly brown Sandstone from the McCormick Quarry. The design is typical of Gothic Revival architecture. Route 63 can be seen adjacent to the entrance.
Front entrance to St. John's Episcopal Church. Known as the "church in the middle of the road" in Ripley's Believe It or Not. It is bordered by Church St on the East and West and E. Center St on the North.
