Friedsam Memorial Library is at the heart of St. Bonaventure University's campus. It is not only one of the centers of student life at Bonas but is an interesting architectural piece designed by Chester Oakley and built in 1938. It was added to in 1963, 1974 and 2007. This tour looks at Friedsam Library's place on the campus and its architectural and functional elements.
Bent's Opera House Tour. Built in 1865 using grey sandstone in the Italianate style. Restoration was completed in 2021. The building now has a high-end restaurant, a boutique hotel, and the Opera House.
Erie Canal Culvert is the only known road that goes under the Erie Canal. Originally built in 1823, it has been expanded at least three times. Constructed of Medina Sandstone.
St. John's Episcopal Church was built in 1832. It is listed in Ripley's Believe It or Not as the "Church in the middle of the road." Built of Medina Sandstone in a Gothic Revival style.
